We are working with a leading international financial technology organisation to appoint a Sales Director focused on Loan Origination solutions across the Nordic region. This is a senior, high-impact role suited to a driven sales professional with deep expertise in lending technology and a strong network across Scandinavian financial institutions.
The Role
As Sales Director, you will lead new business development across Norway and the wider Scandinavian market, driving revenue growth and expanding the firm’s footprint within banks and financial institutions. You will own the full sales lifecycle, from origination through to deal closure, engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business sales of loan origination solutions across Norway and the wider Nordics
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting banks, lenders, and financial institutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks
- Lead complex, enterprise-level sales cycles from prospecting through to negotiation and close
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
- Collaborate with internal product, delivery, and leadership teams to align on client needs
- Maintain a strong market presence through regular client meetings and networking activities
Your Profile
- 10+ years’ experience in sales within financial technology, with a strong focus on loan origination or lending solutions
- Proven track record of winning new business and closing large, complex deals
- Strong network across Nordic banks and financial institutions
- Deep understanding of lending processes, loan origination systems, and the financial markets landscape
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with a commercial mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
