Water is the fountain of life.

In fact scientists have now proven for some time that the major reason our planet is home to life is due to the unique presence of water. As we now look to discover life outside earth, the first thing that scientists do in order to try and guide them in the right direction is to seek the presence of water.

No water, no life. No blue, no green.

Yet as many studies have shown, most of us are drinking nowhere near enough. Amazingly, a study quoted recently showed that less than 1% of people are drinking the recommended 8 cups of water a day.

And why don’t most people do this?

The cursed excuse of the 21st Century.

What’s more, water helps keep us alert, concentrate for long periods of time and even get by with less sleep. In fact feeling tired is often one of the first signs of dehydration. And even mild dehydration can cause our mood to be low.

If we look good we feel good.

The benefits of water on the physical appearance of our bodies is extensive.

Firstly, water promotes healthy weight control. It raises our metabolism so we burn calories quicker, is a natural appetite suppressant and mobilizes excess fat quicker so it can be excreted.

It’s also great for your skin by keeping it constantly moisturized and slows down the appearance of wrinkles. It also flushes out toxins which are often the cause of infections and skin conditions. And with the benefits of improving mood as mentioned above, regular water drinkers are most likely to be smiling – the most attractive thing of all.

And not just water drinkers – even topically, we all know the benefits of a good bath or swim.

And plus it’s free, natural and readily available.

It’s A Sickness Fighter

Leadership is demanding. Sometimes outright stressful. With constantly high levels of cortisol and blood pressure, it’s easy to be struck with illness.

Water is the ultimate source of good health, supplement, and medication. The list of health benefits and advantages are too long to mention.

It’s essential for good digestion and excretion. It keeps our kidneys working properly. It boosts our immune system to fight disease and infection. It even protects our bones and keeps cartilage supple and strong, ensuring our joints stay lubricated.

And even emotionally – as social creatures, studies have shown that when people are lonely, they spend more time in warm baths. Substituting physical warmth for emotional warmth can make them feel “connected”.

Lots of water each day, keeps all doctors away.

The importance of drinking enough water is under-rated.

Although it sounds simple, water-lovers have a big advantage over the rest.
